Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA)

ABA techniques successfully build communication, play, social, academic, self-care, work, and community living skills as well as reduce behaviors in children of all ages. ABA therapy can be provided in structured sessions, naturally occurring activities, or contrived situations. Therefore sessions may take place center based in the home or community. All skills are broken down into small steps, and children are provided many repeated opportunities to learn and practice. The goals of intervention, as well as the methods of presentation, are customized to the strengths and needs of the individual child. Performance is measured continuously by direct observation, and intervention is modified accordingly.

Regardless of the age of the child, the goal of ABA is to enable him or her to function as independently and successfully as possible in a variety of environments.

Speech Therapy

Children with ASD often exhibit difficulties in pragmatic and social language, with an inability to determine what to say, as well as how and when to say it.

Let our compassionate and experienced staff assist you and your child through the process of self-expression & communication. Communication is different for every individual some have emerging language, others use communication devices or other forms of technology, others gesture or use PEC Cards, and some children need articulation and social speech support. Let our team support your child where they are, fine-tune the language & communication skills they have and enhance the development of new skills.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy benefits children by improving their fine motor, coping, play, visual & life skills. OT addresses these skills through activities such as grasp, writing, sensory interventions of bounce or tactile tools, and life skills like self-feeding, toileting, and sound management in community settings. Let our collaborative approach with ABA & speech staff build functional skills to support your child successfully through their day.
